All about the Cree Centre

 The Cree Centre

The Cree Centre was opened by Carers in 1975 to provide support and daytime activities to local people with a learning disability. Today, the centre provides day care for adults with learning disabilities, associated physical disabilities and complex needs.
The Cree centre opens at 09:00am and closes at 16:00pm Monday –Friday.  The Cree centre is open weekdays except Bank Holidays, August Bank Holiday week and the Christmas period.
We aim to provide the highest quality service for our service users that attend the centre ensuring all of their emotional and physical needs are met.  The care we provide is individualised ensuring activities and care is tailored to suit the service users attending the centre.
The Cree centre is an approved provider for day services.  We are registered with Lincolnshire County Council who complete inspections and monitor us to ensure we are a safe and appropriate service.
The Cree centre is a beautiful building with lovely grounds located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Grantham.  The grounds include beautiful flowers, decorations and large well-kept gardens.  We have picnic tables, chairs and lovely areas for our service users to relax outside during the warmer months.  We have an outdoor garden room with electricity and heating for a cosy winter outdoor experience with a hot drink. Inside the centre we have lots of different areas for our service users to spend their day.  We have a sensory room, a large dining room/ activity room, a large TV room and a garden room.  We have a daily activity schedule within the centre to ensure lots of fun and stimulating activities are taking place within the different areas of the building.  Activities are varied and individualised to ensure they are suitable and enjoyable for every individual.
